Installation & care

1. Always confirm the firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction.

2. Place crush washer on barrel thread, hand‑start compensator, then tighten to desired alignment with an appropriate wrench.

3. Check torque/clocking per firearm manufacturer recommendations when available.

4. Inspect threads and device regularly; clean carbon build‑up and reapply light corrosion protection as needed.

5. Remove and store dry for long periods; check washer and re‑torque after first range session.
