Product Description
This .223 / 5.56 Rem chamber-style red laser bore sighter is a compact, self-contained solution for zeroing and sight alignment without firing live rounds. The unit’s machined brass housing resembles a cartridge but contains a precision laser module and the battery compartment. When inserted into the chamber and the action gently closed, the laser projects a red dot aligned with the bore axis so you can adjust windage and elevation on your scope or sight to match point-of-aim — fast and ammo-free.
Ideal for use with scopes, holographic/red dot sights, and iron sights, this tool is perfect for initial sighting, range setup, or field checks. The visible red laser (632–660 nm) produces a small, well-defined dot (approximately 1.5″ at 100 yards) and runs on inexpensive LR41 button cells (included).
How to Use
-
Ensure the firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction; remove magazine and clear the chamber.
-
Insert LR41 batteries into the boresighter and screw the cap to power the unit on.
-
Place the boresighter fully into the .223/5.56 chamber and gently close the action (do not chamber like a live round).
-
Place a target at 20–30 yards (25 yd recommended) — you can use distances up to 100 yd for finer adjustment.
-
Aim the rifle at the target and adjust windage/elevation on your scope or sight until the point-of-aim matches the laser dot.
-
Remove the boresighter and perform live-fire confirmation and final tuning.
Safety & Maintenance
-
Never look directly into the laser or point it at people, animals, or reflective surfaces.
-
Even low-power lasers can damage eyesight; avoid direct or prolonged exposure.
-
Keep out of reach of children.
-
Remove batteries for long-term storage to prevent leakage.
-
Follow all local laws and range rules when using the device.
